In 1 Nephi 4:13, a voice claiming to be the Holy Spirit commands Nephi to murder a defenseless drunk man, steal his identity, lie to his household, and take his property, justifying it with the same logic Caiaphas used to condemn Jesus: “It is better that one man should perish than that a nation should dwindle in unbelief.” That line, nearly verbatim from John 11:50, was the satanic rationale for crucifying Christ. But in the Book of Mormon, it’s not spoken by a corrupt priest—it’s attributed to the Holy Ghost.

A spirit that commands murder and deception is presented as divine. That’s not just error, it’s blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Jesus called it the one unforgivable sin (Mark 3:29) because it replaces the voice of God with the logic of hell. And this wasn’t accidental. It was written nearly 2,000 years after Caiaphas, long after the meaning was clear—revealing deliberate intent.

This isn’t confusion. It’s inversion. The logic that killed Jesus is put in God’s mouth. That’s not revelation. It’s a demonic forgery, and arguably the most blasphemous act ever conceived.

In 3 Nephi 9:2, the resurrected figure claiming to be Jesus declares that he has destroyed cities and personally slain the “fair sons and daughters” of the people, their children and then adds: “the devil laugheth, and his angels rejoice.” Survivors, who have been trapped in complete darkness for three days, are told that Satan is laughing because of the destruction this “Jesus” has just inflicted on their families. This is not just terror, it is psychological and spiritual manipulation using the voice of Christ.

The true Jesus came “to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10), not to burn children and rejoice with Satan. His mission was mercy, not massacre. This passage reveals something far more sinister than harsh judgment: it reveals a spirit impersonating Christ, attributing to Him the murder of children and aligning His actions with the laughter of hell. That is not the Gospel. It is a blasphemous inversion. A different Jesus. A different spirit. And a direct assault on the character of the true Son of God.

After the Mormon “Holy Spirit” lies, deceives, and commands murder in 1 Nephi 4, and after the Mormon “Jesus” claims to have slaughtered innocent children in 3 Nephi 9:2, the final chapter of the Book of Mormon, Moroni 10:4, invites you to pray to that same spirit. You’re told that if you ask “with a sincere heart, with real intent,” the truth will be revealed to you “by the power of the Holy Ghost.” But this isn’t guidance. It’s bait. It conditions you to suspend discernment and surrender your spiritual defenses. Jesus explicitly warned against this kind of sign-seeking in Matthew 12:39, calling it the mark of an evil generation, because it opens the soul to deception masquerading as divine.

Moroni 10:4 doesn’t just suggest prayer, it prescribes a ritual that bypasses scripture, reason, and spiritual testing, and replaces them with subjective emotional confirmation. The result? A “testimony” that feels powerful, but binds the seeker to a lying, murderous spirit, a spirit already exposed by its own words and fruits. This isn’t faith. It’s possession by consent. A spiritually engineered exploit masquerading as revelation. The final snare of a carefully constructed trap.

And possibly the most malevolent mechanism ever deployed in religious history: To create a false spirit, falsify its fruit, and then convince you to pray for its presence.
